Discover Windows Phone Apps Easier with WP7applist

By now, you’ve probably stumbled upon many different ways to find the latest and greatest Windows Phone 7 apps. Because the Zune PC software search feature pulls in music, podcasts, people, video and everything else in the marketplace, it’s not usually the best place to discover new apps for the device.

I’m constantly trying to find new ways to discover the best apps for my Windows Phone and this site I’ve come across may be the best one yet.

Over at WP7 Applist Beta, you’ll find a modern-looking website with the ability to order, display and search for new Windows Phone 7 apps. They’ve even included a Cover Flow-like scroll bar at the top of the homepage which sifts through some of the days top apps.

The home page also feature two columns which displays apps which have had Recent changes and price drops respectively. There is also some nifty app-tracking mechanisms on the right side bar of the page which displays the total amount of apps in a line graph and what percentage of the total app count is priced as free, which is updated hourly according to the site.

The 5 star-rating system is also displayed on each app along with screenshots and a description to help users decide which app is best for them.  Also, a nice feature which has been added is the ability to use Microsoft Tag to download the apps by scanning the Tag with your phone.

Sites like this often make it helpful for me to keep track on the new mobile apps that show up, especially for a new mobile platform like Windows Phone which is still creating an identity for itself. Hopefully you guys will find this site helpful as well. Click here to take a look for yourself.
